Chapter one
(when this site was first started, a long time ago...)
As I have grown closer to God over the recent years, I have gone through a progression in my beliefs. Hopefully we all, as christians, progress in our walk and knowledge of who exactly God is to us. In 1977 as a 9 year old young boy, I heard an alarming Sunday school lesson that I had probably heard before but as yet had not caught on. That Sunday morning we learned about hell and it's purpose. That afternoon my dad led me to the Lord. Fast forward and skip the details all the way to my late 30's when, after years of neglect, I decided it was time to get close to God again. It did not take much to realize how far behind I was, only occasionally attending church or reading the bible. My wife said they had been learning that everyone was going to be saved? My dad passed me a booklet about the doctrine of Christ which spoke some about the salvation of all, I was intrigued. I jumped into the first information that Google supplied and latched onto the most amazing message ever told, God, through the cross work of Jesus, was going to save every single person that has or will ever walk the face of this earth. My outlook on life grew leaps and bounds! Well, a few years after that my dad passed along another book about the openness of God. I admit I have hardly read any of it still, but after some time I decided to look into this new theology that crushed much of my newer belief in universalism! God was going to save all of humanity without having puppet strings on every person? What about the potter and the clay?
As it turns out, for me, the theology of the openness of God made God even bigger and better! Over the past year or so I have read mainly books on open theism (as some call it). It is an amazing and life changing theology. So why open universalism? I have found through reading and conversation that most open theists can not see universalism and most universalists can not see open theism. I find these two amazing theologies blend very well together! I hope that I can share what these beliefs can open our minds to regarding God. Is there more? I am sure there is, God is great beyond my imagination and I look forward to growing our relationship now and in the ages to come!
Chapter 2
Sometime in early 2018
Let me throw in a wrench. Maybe a big wrench to some who might read this page. I believe that God's kingdom is right here, right now, not in heaven, but both on earth and in heaven. I also believe that the kingdom is not exclusive to Israel, in fact I do not believe it ever was. I also believe that the apostle Paul taught the same kingdom of God that Jesus did and that we need to be familiar with what this means! We need to be living the kingdom life today, not in the future in heaven, but now, on earth. I have serious doubts about the future kingdom of Israel and another temple where sacrifices will be offered again. You will probably begin to see this in my blog posts and hope you will follow along with me.

Well, the next page turns. I received another book recently from my dad called The Spirit of Prophecy by Max King. It was a great book and opened new doors. As it turns out, I owned a book by John Noe for at least a year or so that I had yet to read called Unraveling the End; I am almost through now. Recently I also read a Reversed Thunder by Eugene Peterson of The Message Bible fame, another eye opener. So what does this mean? It is hard to say completely but suffice it to say, there is more... For now, the site and it's pages will remain the same, but the content therein, mainly in the blogs, will expand. Why is this important? It is important to me because it changes my outlook regarding why I am here and what I should be doing. So here we go.
